Privacy

This is a small app for keeping track of shnayim mikra. It holds as little about you as it can, and none of it is sold, shared, or used for advertising.

What it stores

If you do not sign in: which parshiyos you have ticked off and how long you have listened, kept in your own browser. It never leaves your phone, and nobody else can see it — including me.

If you sign in: the same ledger, plus your email address, saved to an account so a new phone can pick it up. That is the whole record. No name, no phone number, no address, no payment details.

Who can see it

Only you. Your rows are locked to your account in the database itself, not merely hidden in the app, so another signed-in person cannot read them even by asking the database directly.

Where it lives

The account and ledger are stored with Supabase, and the site runs on Vercel. Sign-in emails are sent through Resend. Those three companies handle the data on the way through; no one else receives it.

Email

Your address is used for one thing: sending the link that signs you in. There is no newsletter and no marketing, so there is nothing to unsubscribe from.

Removing it

Settings has two options. Erasing progress on this device clears the ledger from this browser. Deleting your account removes your email address and your whole ledger from the database — permanently, with nothing kept behind.

Children

Nothing here is aimed at children under 13, and no account should be made for one.
